How to get more clicks for your product

A leaderboard rank is only the start. These are the levers that turn placement into real clicks.

1. Rank where the eyes are

The top three rows get the majority of clicks, and on ProductsBid the podium rows are visually highlighted with medals and full descriptions. A bid that puts you in the top 3 of your category is worth more than a lower spot in a crowded one. Check the current prices and jump in while a category is cheap.

2. Write a listing that answers the click

Your description is the first thing a visitor reads. Make it concrete: what your product does, who it is for, and what makes it different. Listings that say what the user gets tend to get more clicks than vague taglines. You can update your description anytime from the board.

3. Defend your rank

Ranks change when someone outbids you. Watch your email: the moment you are outbid you will know, and raising your bid by $1 is often enough to take the spot back. Early defenders rarely pay more than the price of the spot itself.

4. Keep your click count honest

Click counts are shown next to every listing and feed the “Top clicked right now” panel. A listing that accumulates real clicks looks proven, which attracts more clicks. Make sure your external link goes to the most useful page for a first-time visitor, not just your homepage.

5. Share your unique listing page

Every product on ProductsBid gets its own page at /p/yourdomain. Share that link on Twitter, LinkedIn, or in your changelog: it shows your live rank and bid, which is a great conversation starter.
