Any spot on the board can be claimed. The price to claim a rank is the current bid of the product at that rank, plus $1. New spots start at $5.
To take over a rank, place a bid of at least $1 more than the current holder’s bid for that rank. The board re-ranks instantly.
Paying less than the #1 price still puts you on the board: at whatever place your bid can take. Bids are always visible, never hidden.
Each product lives in exactly one of 28 categories (SEO & AI Visibility, Developer Tools, and more). You bid within a category; the leaderboard shows one global board plus per-category views.
Your rank holds until someone outbids you. You may raise your bid at any time to keep or improve your position.
